Doing some things.

Urban Outfitters sent me an e-mail today with my own idea in it! Okay, it’s not a unique idea at all: I was going to cover our future new sofa with one of their “tapestry” prints (glorified bedsheet). We can’t afford to get my semi-dream couch at the moment (It’s the Corona at Macy’s!), but we sure can afford one at Ikea, even though the comfiest one leaves much to be desired in design. I really like two of them that have an Asian feel, and I think it would go well with the random brown and greeness of the house. Why does UO send me an e-mail everyday, totally not necessary unless they were giving me free things.
Two songs I am learning to sing today: Okay by KaiserCartel (reminds me of a version of The Weepies) and Why Do You Let Me Stay Here by She & Him. Luckily, the She & Him song is short and therefore easier for me remember. However, I was not able to find the lyrics to Okay on the Internet, so I had to listen to it a few times and write it down. Here’s my incomplete version (I could not understand one line, signified by “–”).
Okay
By KaiserCartel
I cannot stand
This still silence
It’s my own fault
I cannot listen
To myself
To myself
To myself
It’s in your eyes
What you’ve been hiding
Turn on your lights
The truth hit home
It’s okay if you want to play dumb
It’s okay if you’ve fooled everyone
It’s okay if you want to have fun
Where is my heart
(Took it with you)
Thought it was lost
(I just miss you)
I learned it was not
(–me too)
I realized that I left it with you
Yeah, with you, boy
It’s okay if you want to play dumb
It’s okay if you’ve fooled everyone
It’s okay if you want to have fun
It’s okay if you can’t stay long
It’s okay if I’m right or wrong
It’s okay if you want to move on
How are you feeling Yes I’m feeling
How are you feeling Yes I’m feeling
How are you feeling Yes I’m feeling
How are you feeling, are you feeling okay?
The “Okay” song is really good. Good luck with it.
