Psychobabble.

I remember this time in my life where I would read the books that were turned into movies because I thought the books would be better. I still do that. Anyways, I remember I read “Hearts in Atlantis” when the film came out, and when I saw the film years later, I was peeved that it was like only half of the book. I wanted the whole book. Not cool. Anton Yelchin played Bobby in the film, and I remembered him because I thought he looked like a porcupine. He had very curly hair. The resemblance now is not so obvious.
Now Anton (he’s Russian, how cool!) is in “Charlie Bartlett,” which I thought would be out last year, but it’s fnially coming out this week, six months later. That’s funny… I saw an ad that the DVD was coming out soon, too. Strange. I just watched the first five minutes of this movie, and it was interesting. I’d watch this film because it reminded me of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and films about dysfunctional rich people. Plus, Robert Downey, Jr. (He may have problems, but I still like his work.) I love how Charlie Bartlett plays the piano for his messed up mother. I can only imagine the relationship there.
