B.A. Bababa.

I have been up since 3 o’clock this morning.
I purchased “Atonement” while waiting at the airport yesterday morning, and I finished it about an hour ago. It devastated me, though that is not difficult to do- I once read a book when I was younger titled “A Doll in the Garden,” and I cried in my living room for a solid thirty minutes. Looking back on the subject now, I’m not sure why I did. Anyways, I wanted to kick Briony, and again, I was devastated. Kind of like how I felt when I saw the end to “Becoming Jane.” I was strangely more emotionally hysterical after that movie, though.
It is almost 9 o’clock. Brandi graduates soon. (Congratulations Brandi!) I graduated yesterday. I even have Bob Knight photography proof of this occuring. I was immensely thankful (and grateful) for the support and love of the friends and family I had around me throughout the day. I don’t make a hoopla about things concerning myself, but everyone was so nice and there for me. It was very surreal, especially since I got lost afterwards in the massive crowd, and I still cannot believe it is over. I checked my grades this morning- graduated with a solid 3.5-ish GPA, which I am completely happy with.
And here’s a little special note for everyong: THANK YOU FOR MY GIFTS! It was like Christmas, I was so scared! My grandma gave me my graduation/Christmas gifts, which pretty much showed me how much I am like her (she gave me a whole collection of shabby chic-ish trinkets for my house), and a cozy set of PJs. (My mom and Mrs. Riggins got some, too!) My parents gave me money, which I quickly put into the wedding fund, and I got a lovely bag from my Dad that was from India, and some really pretty jewerly from my Mom. (Purple is *in* right now, so good timing with my birthstone, Mom!) And right now, I am typing on my BRAND NEW COMPUTER from the Riggins, which I have named Tosh (like from “Torchwood!” *geek*). You can imagine how utterly floored I was, seriously. I definitely cried (for joy). Billy presented me with lovely necklaces for our five-yeah anniversary/ my graduation, and he also paid for dinner, which I am completely going to pay him back for (he’s too sweet, I’m so happy he was there for me while I massively freaked out). Amanda and Katie added to my lovely UCF collection- Amanda gave me a stuffed Pegagus that I’ve been wanting for a while, and Katie made me a very awesome pillow with my NAME on it! Yeah, that’s pretty much awesome. I even had flowers delivered to me, but unfortunately, I wasn’t here to get them, so I have to call the place today about them. Thanks to whoever sent them!!! I am not very good at thanking people, and I know it can seem like I’m not thankful, but dear Golly, I AM!
*freaks out in thankfulness*
(Danke.)
Coolest moment of the graduation ceremony: Tripping up the very amazing name announcer so badly that I was pretty much the only name he paused on, and then he skipped my middle name because he paused. Phonetic pronouncations don’t always help, people. Also, I really loved our commencement speaker, who reminded me of a loopy, cooler version of myself. And, I scooted in my graduation gown.
Best part of graduation: Being with everyone, and celebrating my graduation with them.
(Oh, and by the way, Billy and I celebrated our five-year anniversary this past Thursday. Last week was very hectic, but we did get to see each other and celebrate a little bit. We’ll do all the fancy-schmancy stuff later, which will most likely involve scooting or Disney. I love you, Billy Riggins!!!)
