Bad day with good finds.

I had a bit of a bad day. But it ended well. AND…
I got some great buys at the Goodwill!
-Three packs of string lights.
-”Breaking the Waves” dvd (I’m going to use it in my film class presentation!)
-two books, including a John Irving I’ve never read
-and four CDs!
Last time I bought CDs from the Goodwill, two weeks ago, I got a couple good ones, Nada Surf and Randy Newman. I loved them. Randy Newman is amazing. This time, I found some great CDs, too! Got second copies of “Back to Titanic” and “Stunt” (Billy had wanted a new copy, and good thing I got it because he said my original copy was left in his Echo to be crushed… *sadness*), along with great albums from Travis and Of Montreal. I fell in love with Travis immediately. For some reason, it really connected with me. And the Of Montreal cd was actually the one with the “Outback” song on it… although it’s not the Outback song. I was pretty surprised. I got it for $3! Go to your local Goodwill! I know my music taste will always be behind on the times (I didn’t even know about “Umbrella” until September), but you can find a lot for cheap.
Bad things of the day, though: falling on my knee, sleepy at work, couldn’t finish milkshake, locked out of house for five hours, sat down too much, couldn’t NAP.
Good things of the day: lumpia dinner, Billy, Dr. Who and Eureka!, dessert, music, weekend.
Have a good weekend.
