I am watching “Splash” in entirety for the first time in my life. It’s a really good film! I think I learned that a bit way too late. I am a sucker for Tom Hanks movies- like John Cusack, his characters are the ones you really want to root for. Yeah, I really like Tom Hanks movies (I’m at the part in “Splash” were he’s in the bar after attending his friend’s wedding).
Hehe, I miss John Candy. And Eugene Levy is always good.
Lots of things have been happening, too much to write here. So, let me concentrate on today only. I went shopping forever at Thriftko, a store I visited for the first time. Spent $12, got a few skirts, a jacket, and a sweater. Then got lunch at the Falafel Cafe. Yum. Now I’m back here on the couch, and it’s half past 3pm. I haven’t done my homework.
I did do most of the homework I was supposed to do yesterday, so I’m taking it easy for now. Tonight, there’s a special showing of “Poltergeist” at a nearby theater, and I’m thinking of seeing it (by myself?). I’ve never seen it before… is it a scary movie? (I think it is.) WAIT… I have seen it before… I think. The one with the house that does stuff? Isn’t that every movie? I don’t remember.
Ok, more “Splash” for now. (Tom Hanks is so good at overreacting.)
