Ready to Go

It’s a quarter past 7am. I’ve got Guster on, and I just finished eating my oatmeal that exploded in the micro. I’ve had to do dishes this morning, and clean up half of the microwave, so not too shabby. Guess I shouldn’t have put too much water with the mix. I’ve got about 30 minutes until I have to leave for work. Must take off this “all Marine championship” shirt. I’m not a Marine.
Today is Friday! (Everyone say yay!) I’ve actually got plans! Instead of seeing Billy and his clan tonight (his Scottish family go back tomorrow- bon voyage!), I’m going to see “The Valet” with Parisa and company. Not sure what Amanda’s up to. She’s still kind of sad that she can’t go to Niceville for Marie’s 21st this weekend. Eh, it’s Father’s Day anyways (I sent my dad a card, which is something considering I haven’t sent anything for the last ten years). Amanda will have to hold down the homestead all by herself, and hopefully she remembers to hand in rent (I’ll put it somewhere noticeable).
Tomorrow, I’m going to Jacksonville! That’s a different route for me, because I’ve never driven there before. However, Jenna has made the trek here once before, and I have not visited her in two years! She was sad that no one ever visits, and she’s enough space for all. I’m happy to go, especially since it’s something new, and I get to see Captain, and even Brandi! Brandi will be up for the day as well for a few hours, so it’ll be good to see them again.
Today’s the last day of work before the weekend. I actually like work. Gives me something to do. Plus, I get to type!
