Filled.

Ok, Oreo Par-tay is cancelled! But Billy and I will still partake in some Oero goodness.
We’ll also see if Red Lobster will just sell us their biscuits. Their biscuits are the real reason to go there, not their seafood. If their seafood was spectacular… then their biscuits wouldn’t be all that people liked. [...]

Also, LOST.

I watched “Lost” last night, but I will have to watch it again some time. I thought it wasn’t that good, but apparently, it was the best ever. Well, anything with Locke turns out to be the best ever. I don’t know how I feel about Ben flashbacks- this means he’s a character we actually [...]

Oero Par-tay!

Man, oh, man. I talked to Krista last night, and she was going to eat at Mcguire’s with Ana and kyle, and then I really wanted to be there. Or I wanted boxies. Most likely both. I miss home! Well, I have several homes, but I definitely miss Pensacola.
Tonight, Billy and I are having [...]

The even had TFC on the television.

1 hour + $9 = 2 siopao and 6 lumpia.
Well worth the trip off campus.
Now I am too full.
I could have done with just 1 siopao and 1 order of lumpia.
I’ll keep that in mind next time.

There’s something wrong with me.

Ever since yesterday, I have been craving filipino food. That is a bit strange, since I am one of the least Filipina people around. But I am in deep need of some puto and pansit and bistek, all that glorious goodness.
I even called my grandma to ask for puto. Then she said, “How am I [...]

Smoke gets in my eyes.

It has become significantly smokey in the Orlando area. I was amazed as I went to work this morning, with the ashy skies and the blood red sun. It felt very surreal.
Unfortunately, the smoke smell has even filtered into the third floor of the building. Ick.
I have a Cadbury Crunchie, a granola bar, and tea [...]

I just…

… bought a Xootr MG with fender, most likely under the influence of tea, Tunnock’s Caramel wafer, and dulce de leche cake.
Will I regret it? (This is the most expensive thing I have ever bought myself.)
(And it’s a kick scooter. Not even motorized.)

The playgrounds have changed.

I actually woke up twenty minutes before 6am this morning. Not too shabby. I had only woken up once before, and I had gone to bed at 10pm (after “Heroes”). At least I kind of felt ready to wake up.
(Random: I looked around for some extra batteries last week so I could put them in [...]

A mighty wind.

It is very windy here in Orlando. This conflicts with my daily “eat-ice-outside-when-it’s-still-and-boiling” activity. Instead, I had to eat ice while it was freezing (to me).
However, the wind has lead to an impromptu eat-at-Moe’s-and-fly-kites-afterwards tonight. All are free to join.
After rushing home to eat my leftovers (a big batch of mashed potatoes mixed with corn [...]

“Don’t eat it!”

Ms. Young had a party to celebrate her daughter’s communion last weekend, and the only sore spot was the cake. She drove all the way to Kissimmee for a dulce de leche soaked cake that she was very disappointed with, and the kids at the party really disliked it, too. Well, it’s at work right [...]
