… and totally be Nancy Drew.
For some reason, I really love watching the trailers to the upcoming Nancy Drew movie.
1) I’ve never read any of the Nancy Drew books.
2) Never really watched Emma Roberts in anything, either.
However, Nancy says the following in the trailer, and I couldn’t help myself: “I like old-fashioned things.” She’s, like, everything I wish to be, which is kind of sad (totally sad) since Nancy Drew is a good six years younger than me. Shape up, Villarama! Dress all cute in vintage prep, drive around in a roadster, and fight crime! Hmm, actually…with me being in a social work field, that is possible since I could always become a victim advocate, whose role is necessary and priceless, but those poor people are horribly overworked and drained of life.
So far, my literary role models are strong women, but I’m ending up like a whiny Adrian Mole. Nevermind, I love Adrian Mole.
On a random endnote, I’d like to see Billy as my computer-savy sidekick who can also use a slide rule… yummy.
