And oww and a scoot.

Oww = bad cramps. Sorry to even bring it up, folks. But sadly, it’s the truth.
I am the acting head secretary for the next hour and forty minutes, until work ends. I am unsure what happens at 5 o’clock here at the front desk. I know Mrs. Laden usually locks the door, but I am unsure how to do that among other things, and will have to ask someone for help. Hopefully someone will help me. Around 5, it’s like an exodus when work ends- everyone automatically leaves. After working 8 hours, I would do the same.
This week has been a different work experience. I was given a temporary schedule until the end of the month that includes no working on Tuesdays, and late times to work or early times to work on other days. It’s wasted on the wrong person, though: every day I’ve had to come in at noon, I’ve woken up at 7 am like usual. It hurts when that happens. I just lay in bed surfing the Internet… and to think I could be working during that time.
When I get off work today, I am going to have a super-fun time getting to my car. I got my XOOTR MG! from UPS the other day, and it’s really a blast. Was it worth $200+? Well, you can definitely tell the difference. It’s much bigger than Billy’s scooter, and I love putting both of my feet on the board. It was a bit difficult for me to learn how to open and fold down the scooter, but it’s getting a tiny bit better. The thing is huge compared to my body! Surprisingly, though, it’s rather light. I love the ride- the Xootr really does glide forever. Although it probably isn’t faster than Billy’s, it does take much less effort, and that makes a huge difference. I really enjoy scooting, and I’m glad that I can do so in my skirts and dresses.
Anyways, I wish I could take pictures of it, and even more so, I wish I had a helmet. I wouldn’t care much about helmet hair, but I do care about hurting myself, which is highly possible. I parked my car on the other side of campus to test my Xootr on it’s first day to work. Pretty good time, except my tendency to cut people off and almost run into them. I’m going to have to learn how to stop/slow down better. I am one step closer to becoming a public menace.
All right, bye now: I’m going to spend the rest of my work day writhing in this office chair.
