Present condition: tired.

Blogging from work. I am kind of weakish and my stomach is grumbly. I don’t usually eat breakfast because lunch is had soon after I go to school, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m up at 6, and I don’t get to eat until 1. So sad. I should buy food other than waffles and toaster pastries for the morning time. I left my lunch at home- it is the leftover part of my sandwich wrap from yesterday. I have to go back and get it… along with some ice (score!). Usually I bring ice to work… today, I couldn’t find a cup to bring it in. I am so strange sometimes.
Amanda and I pwned the house last night. It started with me taking out the trash and clearing out the living room a bit, and then it blew up into several hours of picking up stuff. Wow, we have a lot of stuff. I can’t believe we let the apartment go to ruins like that… and I sit in the living room for six hours sometimes, doing nothing.
I was in love with the fact that I could walk a clear path from my bedroom door to my bed, but now I am in love with the fact that I can open the windows and let the sun shine through. I am a sun freak- I hate the indoors now. Maybe it’s because I eat so much ice, and I am more shivery indoors than I am in the sun.
I wanted to write earlier in the week about the VA Tech situation. It is beyond terrible what has happened, and I was really disappointed with UCF’s slow response. A lady came to the office asking why anything hadn’t been said early on, and she made me cry because she said that if I died, the President would probably just want to go on and get a hamburger. *sigh* You really cannot plan for these things, people, and don’t wish ill towards me, the lunchtime receptionist, because I don’t have an answer.
BTW, after this week, I will have not watched four episodes of “The Office.” Instead, I am opting to spend one-on-one, non-television-watching time with Billy. We may partake in pizza… I am unsure as of now. This is a strange twist of events for an “Office” lover. It’s hard avoiding all of the comments about the show in the pop culture blogs I read… but I shall see how long this vacation can last. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Also, cats are so cool. Billy and I had a “war” on Caturday, which you should now blog and discover. He loves cats… and I just love anything to do with Kitten Calendar.
The main reason I felt the need to blog today is this: Eric Bana and Rachael McAdams are set to star in the movie version of “The Time Traveler’s Wife.” I have been thinking about that book this whole week, and I want to reread it again, but I haven’t had time to go to the library. I am so excited about the film- it’s a great story, and when the guy time travels, he always ends up naked. Hmm… Eric Bana… “Munich”… hmm… yum.
Ok, no yums for me. I should be working. Goodbye!
there is going to be a movie for the time traveler’s wife?! yay!!
