Goodbye, February.

Can I just tell you: February rocked soooo hard, and you know it. Today is March, and I’ve got nothing much against March (Spring Break, anyone?), but February was awesome. This February was the best ever. 28 jam-packed days filled with giddyupedness!
Yesterday, I received my last birthday present. Finally got around to checking my mail, and there was something from Kyle! Boo-ya! I got a plethora of presents this year, so I’d like to take some time and say thank you.
Kyle: Thank you for the awesome gift. It came in the mail, too! I hung up the mask next to my wall art man, Bob. I can only hope to be as crazy as you were in that picture, lol. I will eat the praline at lunch, and I listened to the cd in the car. Next year, I will mail you a Pope figurine.
Parisa and Alicia: Thank you for the Asian themed goodness. I’ve worn the slippers countless times, and even once to McDonald’s. I am glad they were there to protect me from the floor. Also, twirly paper roll thingys will be used as a toy for Billy, who is a cat.
Brandi and Krista: Thank you for your friendship. And especially your lurve. We should hang out more often. I miss living near you both.
And thank you for pirate booty.
Thanh: Thank you for the money, and the flower! The flower is still alive. As requested, half the money went to help animals, and in this case, a little kitty I saw at PetSmart. It slept while standing up. It was so cute.
Mom: Thank you for the $201.00. Very cute, hehe, 201 = 21. Clever. And yes, I deposited it. Now it’s in my savings, whoo!
Daddy: Thank you for the $100. It is now in the wedding fund. Your card was true: I will have fun shopping. My plan is to get an actual wedding dress that did not cost $25. Or pay for cake.
Mr. and Mrs. Riggins: Thank you for, wow, a lot of things. Tickets to Rent, Bath and Body Works goodness, a Carvel ice cream cake, wine… yeah, I owe you three grandchildren now. I really loved it. Mrs. Riggins, you teaching Billy how to pop the cork off was a priceless gift in itself.
Amanda: Thank you, bestest roommate ever, for surprising me at work and dropping off my bday gift. It was so sweet- you remembered that my favorite movie was “Good Will Hunting,” and I loved the Hello Kitty things. I wore one Hello Kitty candy bracelet to my Social Movements and Revolutions class. Now all the activists think I’m crazy. (Or 9.)
Billy: *enter unmentionables here* Thank you, Billy, for everything. You made sure I had a good birthday celebration, all the while dealing with two anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, and schoolwork. You learned how to open a bottle for my birthday, and you even sipped some. You stood smooshed with me at the most amazing Guster concert ever, and then you gave me something I’ve always wanted, the UK version of “The Office.” You deserve much more than my hugs and corny personality. I love you.
All right, I must go now: I’m at work. TTYL!
