Life just became a little more uncertain.

“Vomit free since ‘93.”
Ted Mosby on “How I Met Your Mother” said that last year… until he threw up. I *used* to be able to say “Vomit free since ‘97.” Not so catchy, but that statement actually pertained to me once, and now… well, now, it’s all over.
After almost ten years, the record was broken after sharing half a fried combo basket (shrimp and fish) with my grandmother at The Shrimp Basket. This was her first time visiting. It was my first time throwing up in a restuarant. Fun was had.
Why am I reporting this? Why haven’t I talked about school, or the BiBa 4 year anniversary extravaganza, the trip home, or seeing my friends again? Well, it’s because the whole “Ali doesn’t throw up” thing started long before all of that. Now I have to start the countdown all over again. Let me tell you, up chucking seafood is not pleasant. Oh, gross.
But on to more important things! How was school, the anniversary, the trip home, and friends?
School is at least over. I am grateful. Never again taking a political class. Next semester seems to be the hardest yet.
Bi and Ba 4.0 celebrations just couldn’t have been more fun! We ate, we danced, we went to Epcot and saw that cute starfish character at the end of the Nemo ride. Edward was happy, we were happy, and the pictures were fun. I am so happy that I got to spend that time with Billy. I love him, and just hanging out, running about without a care is something we love to do. Drinking four million cups of sample international Coca-Cola products was unnecessary, though. More hugs and kisses! And millions of more BiBa enjoyments!
The trip home was long. I was sad to leave Orlando, leave Billy and his family, Amanda and Parisa and Crystal and everyone (Rupert), and it was awkward driving home. I was afraid my car would die. I fell asleep in a rest area, and ate a lot to stay awake. At the end of the day, however, when I got to see Brandi on my journey, and my grandparents and Krista at home, I cannot say I regret coming. I have many homes, and I am happy that I have so many people to love.
I LOVE SEEING MY FRIENDS AGAIN! I got to see Brandi’s new apartment, and it’s got such cute things in it. I wish I had the time to decorate for the holidays! Brandi was a domestic goddess, and made everyone great gifts. Believe me, we all loved them, THANK YOU! Being with those in Pensacola is very good, too. Kyle, Ana, and Krista… wow, it’s a blast just being together, it never really changes (Wal-Mart… movies… food… someone’s house). It’s a really good feeling. I can’t wait to get back from VA when Jenna comes home!
All right, I’m going to make sure I never eat fast again, so I don’t have to flush my half of a $13 meal down the drain. It must have been the shrimp… I don’t eat a lot of shrimp. Or maybe the tartar sauce. Or me just plain eating too fast. It was a scary experience excusing myself from the table. Ick. Tata for now.
Aww, I miss you. I hope you are feeling better now. *hug hug hug*
Sheesh. I love you, Ali.
i miss you too…
