i say it`s just for kicks.

Friday night, and I’m watching a new “Battlestar: Galactica.” I only caught a second of “Dr. Who.” I am such a geek. Why am I doing hw and watching Sci-Fi? Just cause. Duh.

I watched the film I rented earlier this week, “Donnie Darko.” Yup, lives up to the lowbrow hype. I wish the store had the director’s cut that came out last year or so. Mary McDonnel was Donnie’s mother! She reminded me of Annette Benning as a suburban mother. I like Laura Roslin, though. She has awesome hair. If I were the president of a space colony… I’d want her hair. Anyways, the film made me stop and think. I was and will forever be scared of bunny rabbits… sorry, William. And why is Jena Malone in perhaps every indie teen film (except “Stepmom”…) ever made? Well, in any case, I can wake up tomorrow, be happy I’m alive, and listen to “Mad World” and think of Jake Gyllenhall, not Gears of War, lol.

I have had a lot to write about in the last week, but I’ve never had the chance to pop up the lappy toppy and do anything about it. Now I’ve forgotten everything. Here are some reference terms: Hellogoodbye, cleaning, dues, rent, The Alchemist, phone calls, cold, outfits, knitting, mental illness, comforter sets, Draino, baguettes, Publix holiday samples, fights, hot chocolate and cookies. It had it’s good parts, and it’s bad. Now I feel like biking.

Tomorrow, however, Parisa, Amanda, and I will venture towards St. Augustine for a day trip, part of Amanda’s twenty-first birthday celebration. I look forward to a picnic lunch, and it reminds me of home.

I found out that I am going to Virginia for Thanksgiving. I’m knitting a scarf for Nakia’s first birthday. It is sure to be nice.
