A Much More Eventful Day
Jun 1st, 2006 by Ali
It’s Thurdsday, June 1, and I’ve done more today than I have in the last couple of days. And it’s only almost 3 o’clock! Golly! I went around town with my grandmother and my “auntie grandma.” Filed for a new social security card, went to some thrift shops (bought the most random, almost horrifying dresses and the, um, Justin Timberlake cd), and even went the Au’s Oriental, where I got puto mix and the required Botan rice candy. Sadly, Auntie Au thought I was 12, even though she said I had grown up. Maybe the last time I saw her (last summer), she thought I was 10. I was disturbed. Anyways, I hope to wrangle Billy tonight to get haircut trims. We need them! We’re furry! Okay, not really.
My family’s going to see The Da Vinci Code tonight. I really believe they won’t understand it, although compared to the book, Ron Howard did a lot to make visuals for better understanding.
