(i got mad at ana for not saying hello to me on my birthday.)
i had a good birthday, a really great, first adult birthday ever. i am twenty years old now. i am immensely thankful for those i have around me, and to those who wished me a happy birthday. (not you, ANA, not you! but you could go on your stupid myspace and check it! i do not like that!) (…)
i got to talk to most of my friends, and my roommates were really nice. they decorated the apartment, and gave me a card. they’re going to make me a cake tonight. it’s super sweet. (thank you, krystal, katie, and amanda!!!)
my grandma sent me balloons and a cake, even though she almost forgot yesterday was my birthday. she is so great. her message said “my dear ali: happy birthday, wish you’re here so i can invite all your friends, miss you so much baby! love you! grandma and grandpa.” *tear sniffle* oh, so depressing.
billy and his family were so nice. do you know what it’s like to have your boyfriend and his family sing “happy birthday” to you before you blow out candles on a cake they made? it is amazingly fun. i made a wish, and enjoyed an evening with them. mr. and mrs. riggins gave me really nice gifts, a dooney and bourke wristlet that matches my preppy brown bag collection well, the “wallace and gromit” dvd (yay!), a cute set of winnie the pooh nailpolishes, and GUM.
perfect.
billy got me an ipod nano. *…* thinking about it makes me want to hurl and never go near it. i was so scared, and i wanted to hurt myself. i am not worthy. i am definitely not worthy. (and how am i actually getting away without paying him back with sexual favors? we don’t do that sort of thing!) (happy birthday to my ipod, too: ALPHONSE PABLO JANE, A.K.A. AJA, A.K.A.A. A-HA! i wish you all the luck and happiness and love that a music player can have in it’s lovely lifetime!)
i had a spectacular birthday, and this weekend, the party’s going to continue. that means cake! *YES!* krista and i are going to celebrate! whoo!
ok, adios now. i must clean my room. (billy was scared when he saw it. he should have seen it the other day.)
(i’m sorry, ana. don’t bring it up.)
