Ok, first post of the day, and I AM SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING ON MY HOMEWORK! I’ve put it off for the last four and a half days, and it’s due at 3 PM. What a great student I am.
Anyways, I wanted to point out that the Tristam Shandy movie website (here) is absolutely (well, I don’t want to say “fabulous” just because it’s a popular phrase, but I will…) fabulous. Now I really want to see the movie, and I’ve never heard of it before (but the marketing is going pretty well for a British film- take a look at Nanny McPhee, and you can just tell it’s oozing that crossover iffyness.) Anyways, the concept, like the movie, is rather interesting, and you can’t escape the fact that it’s so simple, but it gets across to you really well. I really enjoyed the “recycle bin” area- rejected movie posters all looked wonderful, and I can’t wait to do that as my job one day.
(BTW- I’m struggling here: should I be a movie poster maker or a book flap maker? Not that those are real titles of professions, but they are the two things of professions that turn me on! Does your profession TURN YOU ON?)
… All right then… well, besides madly loving marketing of movies and books (the best part of reading things like the NYTimes Sunday Papers… “for your consideration” nowadays and etcetera), I should… work. Bye.
